Nizuc is a Mexican-inspired restaurant in New York City. The identity draws inspiration from the warmth, vibrancy, and bold flavors of Mexican culture through hand-drawn cactus illustrations and a rich color palette. Rather than treating the cactus as a flat graphic element, I illustrated it with expressive, crayon-like textures to give it a stronger sense of life and personality. I wanted the artwork to capture the richness and energy I associate with Mexican culture, while bringing a handcrafted, artistic quality to the brand.
