BU Pastry Bar is a pastry bar specializing in canelés, pastries, and handcrafted drinks. Inspired by the meaning of “BU” as a close friend or buddy, the identity transforms the silhouette of a canelé into a distinctive logo that reflects the warmth and connection behind the brand. I transformed the canelé into two connected faces, creating a logo with a subtle sense of absurd humor that makes the brand instantly memorable. To balance this playful gesture, I kept the overall identity minimal and refined, allowing the logo to take center stage while giving the brand a more elevated, contemporary feel.
